Role
OUR ROLE · ALICE SPRINGS, NORTHERN TERRITORY
3 Day Uluru Tour is an Australian-based travel business in Alice Springs. We help travellers discover, compare and book carefully selected three-day Uluru tours and Red Centre adventures. The tours themselves are delivered by independent Australian tour operators, and it’s worth knowing exactly where our part ends and theirs begins.
This page sets out how responsibilities are shared, what can change and what we can’t promise in the desert, so you can book with clear expectations.
A · WHO DOES WHAT
A three-day Uluru tour involves three parties: us, the operator who runs it, and you. Each one has a clear part to play.
OUR PART
We curate a selection of three-day Uluru tours and Red Centre adventures from independent Australian operators.
We help you compare itineraries, departure locations and accommodation styles side by side.
We help you check current availability and book online, from anywhere in Australia or overseas.
We answer your questions from Alice Springs, 9:00–17:00, seven days a week.
THE OPERATOR’S PART
The independent operator runs the tour itself, including any guiding, transport and accommodation included in that itinerary.
They set the itinerary, the inclusions and the departure arrangements.
They set their own booking conditions, which can differ from one tour to the next.
They decide departure schedules, which may run all year or seasonally.
YOUR PART
Read the itinerary and the operator’s booking conditions before you confirm.
Check that the pace, any overnight stays the itinerary specifies and the accommodation style suit you.
Arrange anything the tour doesn’t include, such as flights or travel insurance.
Ask us when something isn’t clear. That’s what we’re here for.
Red rock country from above. Distances like these are why the operator plans the route.
B · WHAT CAN VARY
Because independent operators deliver each experience, the details belong to them and can change. We’d rather you hear that from us now than discover it later.
If anything on a tour page doesn’t match what you expected, ask us before you book.
Itineraries and inclusions
These vary by operator and itinerary. A tour may include guided sightseeing at Uluru or a visit to Kata Tjuta, but only the tour’s own details confirm it. See What Tours May Include.
Availability and departures
Tours may run all year or seasonally, depending on the operator, the weather and departure schedules. Departures aren’t guaranteed.
Booking conditions
Each operator sets its own conditions, so they can differ between tours. Our general terms are in the Booking Terms & Conditions.
Weather and sightseeing
We can’t guarantee weather conditions, sunrise or sunset views, or what you’ll see on the day.
Price
We don’t offer a lowest-price guarantee. Prices depend on the operator and itinerary, your travel dates and seasonal demand, and the accommodation style, such as camping. More in What Affects the Price.

C · BEFORE YOU BOOK
Five quick questions to ask of any tour you’re considering. They help you see the operator behind a tour before you commit.
1 · Who delivers this tour?
Every tour we present is run by an independent Australian operator. Knowing who that is tells you whose itinerary and conditions apply.
2 · Where does it start and finish?
Departure locations differ between tours, and in remote country that changes your whole trip. Our Planning Guide: Distances & Red Centre Logistics explains why.
3 · How are the nights spent?
Tours usually include two overnight stays where the itinerary specifies them. Camping and other styles feel different and can affect the price.
4 · What’s included, and what isn’t?
Check the listed inclusions, then plan for anything outside them, such as flights or travel insurance.
5 · Is three days the right fit?
A three-day tour may not suit you if you want a fully flexible self-drive trip, a private luxury experience or a longer holiday. Read Is a Three-Day Tour Right for You?
